Royal Hospital successfully transplants a heart defibrillator

October 2019 , Muscat, Al-Wisal FM: For the first time in Oman, the National Center for Cardiology and Surgery at the Royal Hospital successfully transplanted a heart defibrillator beneath the skin of a patient without inserting wires into the heart’s veins.

According to the Royal Hospital’s Twitter account, the 20-year-old patient was suffering from congenital heart defects.
