September 2019, Muscat, (ONA): The Oman International Health Conference and Exhibition 2019, organized by Oman Expo, was officially open yesterday, September 23, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre under the patronage of HE Sayyid Dr. Sultan Bin Yahya Al Busaidi, the advisor to the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs.
The exhibition includes a number of international specialized health organizations, leading hospitals and about 100 companies from twelve countries.
During the three day exhibition (23-25 September), the conference and exhibition highlights the plans of Oman’s Ministry of Health to promote the health sector in the Sultanate, and the latest developments in the medical field locally and globally. It also highlights the health projects that are being executed by the Ministry, in order to improve health services, and presents some of the latest research and modern technologies that contribute to the development of the health system in Oman.
The conference will be attended by 30 local and international specialist speakers to shed light on the latest developments in health services, health insurance, health investment, patient safety, risk management, human resources in the health sector and the quality management in the same sector.
The agenda of the conference also includes workshops on how to qualify the human resources in the health sector, and introducing radical analysis of the health sector’s challenges in Oman.
