Oman to preserve life quality despite fall of oil prices, says Sayyid Fahd

Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers said on Wednesday (1 May 2019) that the government will “spare no effort” to ensure that citizens do not bear the brunt of changing oil prices. 



His Highness explained during an interview with Oman TV that the drop of oil prices is subject to several political and economic considerations and that what is important for the Sultanate is to “preserve the life aspects of all citizens”.

The government of Oman announced on April 30 the fuel pricing for the month of May, which saw an increase of 7 baisas for M95 and M91 fuels.
