His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has sent a cable of condolence to Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President of Egypt on the death of the victims of the fire that broke out in the main railway station in Cairo.

At least 20 people have been killed and 40 injured after a train crash sparked a large fire at Cairo’s main railway station, Egyptian officials said.

The collision caused the train’s fuel tank to explode, setting the platform and nearby buildings alight.
