The Oman Cancer Association (OCA) is hosting its 15th edition of the Walkathon – a long-distance walk organised as a fundraising event for cancer patients and research – and it promises to be the biggest ever.
To make it happen, the organisers from the non-profit organisation are requesting the participation of resident across the Sultanate.
This year’s event will take place at the Qurum Natural Park on the 30th of October, 2018. The walk is expected to begin at 4:00 p.m. and will proceed until 6:00 p.m.
Registration for the event will cost RO3.5 – and you’ll receive a free t-shirt and a raffle ticket that could fetch you attractive prizes.
Registration forms are available at all commercial malls across Oman already. Alternatively, you can also head to the OCA head-office in Ghubra or register at the stall on the day of the event.
The annual event is hosted every October in light of the global ‘Pink Ribbon’ month for breast cancer.
