Oman U-16 team gears up for AFC Cup

Oman’s under-16 football team concluded their camp in Iran on Wednesday as part of the preparation for the AFC Asian U-16 Championship in Malaysia from September 20 to October 7. The team will now have a short external camp in Malaysia prior the kick off the competitions of the Asian Cup.



Oman are placed in Group B along with Yemen, DPR Korea and Jordan. The Sultanate boys will commence their campaign at Asian Cup with a match against Yemen on September 21 at MBPJ Stadium.

In the second match, Oman will meet Jordan at Petaling Jaya Stadium, while the last match will be against DPR Korea at the same venue.
