Oman LNG on Sunday signed an agreement with the Ministry of Social Development to donate RO 116,140 to finance the construction of ‘disabled children game area’ at Al Sahwa Gardens in Muscat.

The area shall include games that suit the different types of disabilities and autism.

According to Oman News Agency, the project aims at providing recreational facilities for disabled children “in a bid to enhance their feeling of citizenship and parity with other children.”

The project enhances inclusion of disabled children and raise public awareness of the handicapped children issues.

The external games area for disabled children is part of ‘Loyal to Society’ program, promoted by the ministry in cooperation with a number of private sector organizations.
