The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM), presents for the first time, as part of its Legendary Season, a charming fantasy show from Vietnam, “A O Show”.

The show designed to reflect the delicate beauty of Vietnam by presenting various portraits with gentle humour that spread the slimy beauty that Vietnam is known for, with images that reflect the richness of Vietnam’s past and present culture.

The show, which takes place on 19 to 21 April, is based on two Vietnamese words for the village of Lang and the city of Bo, shortened to A O, a contrasting harmony in the life of a quiet village amidst noise, competition and rivalries that are closest to city life, but subtly and lovably displayed. The show refers to Vietnam’s transition from rural village culture to urban culture.

The show offers a great mix of music with dances, acrobatics, theater scenes, modern visual effects, and live music with 17 Vietnamese musical instruments.

The ROHM will host this spectacular show on Thursday, 19 April at 7:30 pm, and Saturday on 21 April at 4:00 pm.
