This week, art lovers in the Sultanate are treated to a visual feast.
Until end of the month, several venues will hold art galleries featuring local and international names.
Here’s a list of the upcoming events:
The exhibition is a product of “Drawing on Omani Boats” which was recently held at the Heritage and Tourism Festival in Muttrah during the period from March 14th to 28th.
The revenues will be dedicated to charitable work in the Wilayat of Muttrah.
The event was also supported by the local volunteer teams in the wilaya. The exhibition will be open to the public until the 19th of this month.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishing the Omani Society for Fine Arts (OSFA) at Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science – Diwan of the Royal Court, the OSFA will organise an online fine arts auction to exhibit the works of Omani artists, members OSAF, on its social media platforms.
The exhibition showcases different kinds of works of Pragya Bhatnagar and Erica Barrow, at Al Majlis Art Café, City Seasons Hotel, Al Khuwair, Muscat.
The exhibition will remain open for the general public until 30th April.
On Tuesday, 10th April 2018, Desert Tune Exhibition by Saleem Sakhi opened at Gallery Sarah.
That coexistence between Saleem Sakhi and the environment has become a source of creativity and inspiration in abstractive style, as well as his studies about design which helped him understand the nature of that art.
