Oman Avenues Mall’s 2018 Season of Fashion has come to an end. The campaign, which ran from 1st February – 3rd March, went ahead under the theme ‘Fashion Reimagined’, and celebrated a full month of fashion, style and glamour.
The campaign culminated in the Grand Finale Fashion Show, which featured a line-up of professional fashion models, all presenting the leading Spring/Summer 2018 looks from the major high-street retailers found at Oman Avenues Mall.
Showcasing 10 fashion brands together with live music and dance performances, and grand giveaways, the evening presented the very best in current trends and timeless style.
Brands included Sara Plaza, LuLu Hypermarket, Matalan, LC Waikiki, Khazir, Superdry, Desigual, Brands, The Lookout and H&M. Fashion personalities and VIPs from Oman were present as a high-profile set of professional models paraded the trendiest men’s and women’s looks along a fashion runway set up in the mall’s main atrium.
For the duration of the campaign and up until 10th March, with every OMR 15 spent, shoppers could also take part in a scratch-and-win card competition to win instant prizes, as well as a grand prize giveaway of a brand new, luxury Mercedes-Benz CLA 250.
Commenting on the campaign, Derick Michael, General Manager, Oman Avenues Mall said: “This year’s Fashion Season 2018 has been met with tremendous applause. We encourage our shoppers to try something different, and as such, we are incredibly proud to have presented over 30 unique brands during this year’s month of events. Whether it be kids’ fashion, make-up and beauty, cultural or high-street fashion; we aim to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
Earlier in the campaign, on 9th and 10th February, the mall buzzed with excitement as families and well-wishers cheered on participants of what proved to be a very popular Kids Fashion Show. More than 2,000 entries were received for the show – all from excited parents who were keen to showcase their kids as young models.
The following weekend, Oman Avenues Mall organised a series of very successful workshops for a Make-up & Beauty Show, where participants could learn beauty tips and tricks from local make-up professionals.
The Omani Designers Fashion Show – another Season of Fashion 2018 highlight –– took place on 23rd February, where a selection of Oman’s top fashion designers showcased the latest trends in traditional as well as contemporary Omani fashion.
For the duration of the campaign, Isukoshi Oman, the global healthcare company specialising in luxury massage chairs, showed their support as the official Season of Fashion 2018 partner.
