Oman hosts contemporary Italian fashion show

Swan International, the fashion retailer of Italian bands in Oman presented collections of brands such as Lui.Jo, MAX&Co., Pennyblack and Trussardi at Muscat Bay.

Her Highness Sayyida Aliya bint Thuwaini Al Said, Chairperson of Swan International, expressed, “From the very beginning, we went against the odds to transform the local retail space and experience by making Oman a strong contender for international brands to enter and flourish. We have come a long way over the last five years and remain steadfast in our resolve to work in partnership with brands that share our aspirations and ones that cater to the burgeoning demand for quality fashion in the country.”

She added, “Today, our portfolio has grown to include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, footwear, home accessories, beauty and skincare. I can confidently say that we are now playing a key role in stimulating the retail industry in Oman and actively contributing to building a name for the country across international waters.”

The brands showcased at the fashion show epitomized the excellence of Italian artisanship, from design to manufacturing. H.E. Giorgio Visetti, Ambassador of Italy to Oman, said, “Fashion can help foster bi-lateral relations and we are delighted to see a growing presence of Italian fashion brands in Oman. Italy is a prime example of the importance of the fashion industry to the economy. The words ‘Made in Italy’ are enough to guarantee sophisticated and high quality products, highly coveted for their integrity, durability and design originality.”
