Oman Chamber of Commerce calls for axing private sector fees

Companies listed under Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will pay less fees this year, the chamber announced on Wednesday.

Third and four degree participants will pay 10 per cent less fees and 20 per cent less if they hold a riyada (Public Authority for SME development) card.

OCCI also called upon government to delay suggested fees that are planned to be imposed on private companies.

Moreover, the chamber announced forming a committee to study exempting companies that have not paid their fees.
