Minister of Royal Office Al Numani visits new Muscat International Airport

Sultan Al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office paid a visit to the new Muscat International Airport on Tuesday.

He was accompanied by Dr Ahmed Al Futaisi, Oman’s Minister of Transport and Communications, and Mohammed Al Zaabi, CEO of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), as well as a number of senior figures from the Royal Office.

Tests to finalise the feasibility and readiness of the airport are now nearing completion. The latest among these tests were the Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) operations, which took place in the presence of International Air Transport Association (IATA) officials.
