Shahd Maan Naddaf on a certain series of books that is close to her heart

Reading is a thing that is very close to my heart. I can read any book about magic or any other fictional book.

Lately, everyone has been talking about the Harry Potter books and, as I like reading, I was curious to know what the books were about and why the author is very famous. At the book fair in Oman in February, I got six Harry Potter books and started reading about the author J.K. Rowling, who is from the UK. She used a lot of magic in these books even though they are fictional books and here are some magical facts about the Harry Potter books and the author:

1. Harry Potter books have sold more than 400 million copies and have been translated into 67 languages.

2. When Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was released in Great Britain, the publisher asked stores not to sell the book until schools were closed for the day to prevent truancy.

3. The author J.K. Rowling is 51 years old.

4. The first Harry Potter book was published in 1998, the same year the final Battle of Hogwarts was fought. Says Rowling: “I open at the close.”

5. J.K Rowling’s real name is Joanne Rowling and she got the “J” from her name and the “K” from her grandmother’s name, Kathleen.

These are the facts that made me interested in Harry Potter. If you are a fictional book lover, I recommend these books to you.
